First thing this morning was for me to enter the Park and go to my favorite place close to the lagoon and take a bath in the warm transparent water. Somehow I really had the feeling that, yes I was taking a bath in a huge bathtub with perfect warm water. Nobody was in the Park yet to see me taking my bath, because I definitely behaved like I am taking one. I wanted to stay until the sun would get too hot and I would have start taking care of my skin.

The Park was one reason, the bakery the second, the parking the third and the cyber was the fourth reason for me to like Tucacas. My virtual office had air condition, I had my own desk away from all the kids playing video games, sorry, that was yesterday, checking their Facebook. I had my own direct connection to the internet and to a plug for electicity. Everything was set for me to start working.

I worked until lunch time and went to the bakery to have my favorite pizza. I went back to the Park to look for a shady place and have a break. I entered a small side track and drove a little bit away from the beach into the Park and into mangroves and the dry salty desert. I did not notice this part before and now had a very good opportunity to see the first wildlife, basically pelicans and birds. I spent too much time watching birds and at the end I did not rest at all.

I went back to my office and continued to work on the site. I had a conversation with my ex business partner about the ongoing businesses of the company and some other pending matters. I looked up all information about the Nacional Park Morrocoy and planned to go tomorrow to Chichiriviche to visit the islands first that were close to that village. The situation at the border had not changed and I had settled with the idea or the reality to go back to Brazil and probably to Manaus and from there to  reorganize the route of the project a bit. First though I wanted to spend at least a week here in the Park. During this week I could study every day a little bit in my office what could be the alternatives.

After I had finished working I went back another time to the Park and went this time for a walk along the beach close to the entrance. The city of Tucacas and the Park face the sea to the east and therefore do not have spectacular sunsets in the sea; maybe in the next day’s one of the islands would have. I am always fascinated to see the sun touching the sea and realize how quickly the sun then disappears and to see the colors in the sky which seemed to change every minute. What did not change was my dinner at the bakery, which had already been yesterday’s dinner and today’s lunch, a slice of pizza. What did not change as well was my parking for the night at the hospital.
