Life does not always give you an explanation. Sometimes things happen that do not make any sense at the time.

When your friends are leaving your life, you feel like something important is taken away from you.

You do not know how to say goodbye to a friend. There are no words able to express how much they mean to you.

Friends lost are not to be forgotten, for at one point in time you could not picture your life without them being part of it somehow.

Remember the great times you share with people because they may be temporary, so hold on to those good memories.

For his role in the creation of the Oslo Accords, Rabin was awarded the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize, along with Yasser Arafat and Shimon Peres.

The Accords greatly divided Israeli Society, with some seeing Rabin as a hero for advancing the cause of peace and some seeing him as a traitor for giving away land they viewed as rightfully belonging to Israel.

National religious conservatives and Likud party leaders believed that withdrawing from any Jewish land was heresy.

Rallies organized by Likud and other right-wing groups featured depictions of Rabin in a Nazi SS uniform and compared the Labor party to the Nazis and Rabin to Adolf Hitler.

On the evening of 4 November 1995 Rabin had been attending a mass rally at the Kings of Israel Square in Tel Aviv, held in support of the Oslo Accords.

When the rally ended, Rabin walked down the city hall steps towards the open door of his car, at which point Amir fired three shots at Rabin.

Two shots hit Rabin, and the third lightly injured Yoram Rubin, one of Rabin‘s bodyguards.

Rabin was taken to the nearby Ichilov Hospital with considerable delay, where he died on the operating table from bloodloss less than 40 minutes later due to blood loss and a punctured lung.

Shalom haver, I find it hard to talk
It gets harder every day
I want to say a lot of things to you
I have no words, due to the magnitude of the pain

Like a known, planted tree that stands tall
A strange wind plucked its roots
The tree grew over the years
Climbed and climbed until it touched the sky

Gave fruits and shadow to the tired
It is nature’s way

Like the tree a man grows up as well
Wants his estate as well
God gave and only God will take
You are my friend and brother

Shalom haver, I find it hard to talk
It gets harder every day
I want to say a lot of things to you
I have no words, due to the magnitude of the pain
