The Mirador was a nice place to open my eyes. I had rested. I went to the supermarket and had an Aquarius and a turkey sandwich, actually two. Prepared by myself, I just simply bought turkey ham and two French bread, opened the bread and put the turkey ham in. Turkey sandwich sounds sophisticated, something you order in a fancy lounge bar or restaurant, with an imported, never heard before type of salad within and an oriental, tasty and slightly spicy sauce. I opened the bread and put the turkey ham in, ok. End of the story.

I had to try something new today and park the car in front of a strong signal Wifi spot and ask the owner for the access code in order to log in and work on the site, speak via Skype, have look at messages and at international news. At the same time the parking spot should offer some shade and draw not too much attention. For a white, white Gringo in a small village, that is a challenge but on the other hand the options are limited. So there was not too much of a choice.
My first choice was the local Pousada on the main street not far from the center. Strong signal and row of trees dividing the road and offering shade throughout the day. In a village you have to explain a little bit more and with my Gringo accent, I had to ask twice. I think it was the guests who were checking out at the moment that did not leave an option to the receptionist, an older, very skeptical looking lady. I mean look at my picture, that is the way I look at the moment. I understand people. I am simple and strange looking.
I worked basically the whole day and caught up with the outstanding. The signal went completely off three times during the day. The receptionist, the elder lady, honestly mentioned that to me, when she ordered the assistant to write down the access code for me the other day.
By the way, I went to the supermarket and had an Aquarius and a turkey sandwich, actually two.
