Aznavour sang frequently about Love. He was married three times: to Megan Rugel (1946), Evelyn Plessis (1956) and his widow Ulla Thorsell (1967).

Five children were produced by these marriages: Séda, Patrick, Katia, Mischa, and Nicolas.

During the German occupation of France during World War II, Aznavour and his family hid a number of people who were persecuted by the Nazis, while Charles and his sister Aida were involved in rescue activities.

Their work was recognized in a statement issued in 2017 by President Rivlin of Israel.

That year, Aznavour and Aida received the Raoul Wallenberg Award for their wartime activities.

The Aznavours were closely linked to the Missak Manouchian Resistance Group and in this context they offered shelter to Armenians, Jews and others at their own Paris flat, risking their own lives.

Bohemianism is the practice of an unconventional lifestyle, often in the company of like-minded people and with few permanent ties. It involves musical, artistic, literary or spiritual pursuits.

Bohemians may or may not be wanderers, adventurers, or vagabonds.

Bohemians are often associated with unorthodox or anti establishment political or social viewpoints which were expressed through free Love and voluntary poverty.

The Bohemian sub-culture has been closely connected with predominantly male artists and intellectuals.

The female counterparts have been closely connected with the so called Grisettes, young women who combined part-time prostitution with various other occupations.

Grisette also is a reference to independent young women. Grisettes work as artist’s models, often providing sexual favours to the artists in addition to posing for them.

Bohemianism is the fastest growing new religion/lifestyle in the World, though its origins date back to ancient history.

Bohemianism contains elements of theology, ideology, mythology, and spirituality.

It is a way of life and focuses on the individual and his impact on the World.

The connection with mythology is that if a Human being creates legends similar to the heroes of the ancient World mythologies.

Humans have a powerful life force and should use this power to become unique individuals. This is very different from mainstream theologies, which demand humility and obedience.

Life is a wonderful gift that is meant to be enjoyed. Life is not merely a test. It should be cherished and celebrated, each in his or her own way.

Afterlife consists of the lasting impact a person has made upon other Human beings and the World. When a Bohemian dies, he will continue to live in the hearts and minds of Humans touched by him.

Additionally, he will have created legends that will continue to impact others whom the Bohemian was unable to personally touch.
