Stay in the Moment / Im Moment Verweilen / Ficar no Momento / Quédarse en el Momento

There are moments in life where you wish to press the pause button and live that memory forever and ever.

But sadly, you can not. Moments when you freeze because of happiness.

That happiness can radiate from anyone and anything, anywhere. The World stops when this happens.

Moments where your eyes focus to that special something. Moments where you smile as if you are the most ecstatic person on Earth.

Moments that you hold on to. Moments that keep you motivated and inspired. You are frozen in the moment.

Sometimes you even say: ‘Where have you been all my life?’ Moments when you lie on your back and appreciate how beautiful life is.

Times where you acknowledge all the blessings you have received in your short time on Earth. It is when you realize how lucky you really are.

You never know when that moment comes but you are sure that you want to freeze it when it does.

If you want to learn what someone fears losing, watch what they photograph.

Photography is not just a picture, but an instinct derived from the fear of losing a moment, and especially the feeling that came with it. You have this impulse to save your memories.

You want to remember what has happened in your past, whether it is good or bad. You live in this notion that the past is what has made you who you are, and is always going to be a part of you.

Photography is grasping at the immortality of experience, and it always falls short.

You photograph because you hope to not only remember what was happening when you took the photo, but essentially step inside the frame and live in that moment again. It will never happen, but it is potently close.
