You can proudly declare that your mother didn’t raise no fool; but how can you be sure if you never studied the difference between a wiseman and a fool?
Not only should you be careful with your words but with whom you share your words.
‘A fool’s lips walk into a fight, his mouth invites a beating,’ Proverbs 18:6.
You did something destructive and you laugh about it. You have had inumerous immature moments; you have been foolish.
The fool never matures or considers the consequences or how he is affecting others.
‘Doing wrong is like a joke to a fool, but wisdom is pleasure to a man of understanding,’ Proverbs 10:23.
This World certainly could use more people who value the pursuit of knowledge and understanding and desire to become more mature.
‘Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent,’ Proverbs 17:28.
If you are looking to improve your relationships at home, at work or really anywhere, study the book of Proverbs. It does not just tell you ‘what not to do,’ it tells very well ‘what to do’.
Don’t be no fool
Holding on to the things that hurt you most
A ball and chain around your feet
Smelling nostalgia defeat
And when you were young
With fleeting feet
Dancing away
Always in the flow always in the beat
And like lights show, yourself you could be, free from all worries
You’ve come so far
Got a bright little star, shining the way
So keep hiding that pearl
Don’t live in that shadow
All our words are lost in the wind and all my love goes to perish
Anything i do, if i could help you ill try and not hurt you
Don’t be no fool i know your’e not no fool
It is you it is you its what is most of me and you
I feel for you, in letting go
Be sure its not for show and tell
But my words and my gestures just like piss in the wind, and keep on getting wet
So I won’t be no fool
I won’t let you hurt
I won’t be no fool
I do, I do, i do, I do.
