You can feel the sense of honor and gratitude. As one kisses the other goodbye, they are grateful for having loved and been loved.

When a relationship experiences an unnatural end, they kiss for the last time as well. Their last kiss is sometimes the last attempt to salvage Love.

For others, it is a masked affection as they are pretending to be something they are not.
