Lust is a psychological force producing intense wanting for an object. Lust can take any form such as lust for food, lust for expensive objects, lust for fame or the lust for power.

There are many reasons for which one can have lust for sex; to be close to someone, to hold on to someone or to manipulate that person, to hurt a third party, to hurt ourselves, to define our identity, to make a child, or to gain some advantage such as money or security.

There is only one reason for which we can have lust for life and that is living it.
