Please, do not waste my time! If you do, do not expect me to hang out with you for very long.

And do not expect me to spend time with you in the future. I do realize that being me does not make me the most popular guy.

If I am in a meeting going nowhere I intervene. If I meet someone who I do not find worthy of my time, I end the conversation and move on.

Time has become truly precious and any second not spent with people or activities you care about feels like time stolen with no chance of return.

You might argue that money is the most valuable resource because it enables to survive.

You can always make more money but time is an entirely non renewable resource; once time passes, it is gone forever.

No matter how much you wish, you simply can not get more time. Whether you are rich or poor, the clock is ticking and more time can not be bought.

When you are young, you think you are immortal and invulnerable. So, you waste your time with people who do not have any real value to you and engage in activities that do not do much for your life in the grand scheme.

When you are young, you do not necessarily know what you value or what will bring benefit to you long term.

But much like having a lot of money in the bank, it does not seem to matter because you have plenty of time to spend.

Once you look seriously on your life, you ponder and regret the immense opportunity costs of your past relationships and things you did.

And you painfully learn, that not only is time nonrenewable, it is also not reversible. Such, as they say, is life.
