This is where we Part / Hier trennen wir Uns / Aqui nos Separamos / Aquí nos Separamos

The main reasons for divorce are cheating, responsible for 21.6% of the divorces, followed closely by incompatibility (19.2%), drinking or drug abuse (10.6%), growing apart (9.6%), personality problems (9.1%), lack of communication (8.7%), physical or mental abuse (5.8%) and finally loss of Love (4.3%).

Love can be lost. Losing Love is more like how you lose time. Time can never be regained. A moment lost will never come back to you.

You can change yourself and become more present, but you will never regain what was lost.

Love is the story that you tell yourself and the story that you live. Like any story, it can become stale or even ends unless new chapters are written and re-written.

So this is where we part, My Friend,
and you’ll run on, around the bend,
gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you’ll surely find.

I will go on, I’ll find the strength,
life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave,
share one last look, before I grieve.

There are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren’t you.
And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought,
will remember well all you’ve taught.

Your place I’ll hold, you will be missed,
the fur I stroked, the nose I kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this … I loved you best.
